After study­ing Human Med­i­cine for eight semes­ters at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Leipzig Franziska inter­rupt­ed her stud­ies to work on her MD the­sis in the O’BRAIN Lab in 2018. In a shared project with Hen­drik Hart­mann she will inves­ti­gate the influ­ence of diet on the (epi)genetic sta­tus of the dopamin­er­gic sys­tem and how this could affect neu­rocog­ni­tive function.
