Our PhD and MD students, Hendrik Hartmann and Lara Pauli, wanted to know how dietary fat and sugar alters our central dopamine system and cognition. They investigated this association in a healthy young human population, making use of a dietary dopamine depletion intervention. The findings are published in Journal of Neuroendocrinology.
