Professor Annette Horstmann, PhD, is an esteemed researcher at the Department of Psychology, University of Helsinki. She will present her work investigating the neurobiology of obesity, focusing on the cognitive processes and traits that influence eating behaviors and the development of obesity. In addition to her interdisciplinary approach that draws upon biology, psychology, neuro- and cognitive sciences, medicine, nutritional sciences, and mathematics.
