We are very pleased to announce that Maria Poes­sel and Annette Horstmann, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Thomas Hum­mel (from the Smell and Taste Cen­ter), have been award­ed a research grant by the Roland Ernst Foun­da­tion, worth 108.000 €. We will explore the influ­ence of smell per­cep­tion on eat­ing behav­ior in obe­si­ty using EEG and fMRI. With this grant we plan to devel­op an olfac­to­ry train­ing for weight reduc­tion in obesity.
