We are delighted to announce that our Doctoral Researcher, Arsene Kanyamibwa, has been accepted for an oral presentation at the prestigious Society for the Study of Ingestive Behavior (SSIB) 32nd Annual Meeting. The event will take place from July 28 to August 1, 2025, at the Mathematical Institute in Oxford, United Kingdom.
Arsene will present the latest study results on how high consumption of ultra-processed foods affects brain structure. His abstract, entitled “Ultraprocessed Food Consumption Affects Structural Integrity of Feeding-Related Brain Regions Independent of and via Adiposity,” has been selected for an oral presentation in the session titled “Oral Session 5: Hot Topics in Ingestion and Nutrition” scheduled for Thursday, July 31 at 10:00 AM.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Arsene for this significant recognition and look forward to his presentation, which promises to offer valuable insights into the intricate relationship between ultra-processed food consumption and brain health.
For those attending the SSIB meeting, we encourage you to join Arsene’s session and engage in the discussion on this critical topic.
