With­in the Exper­i­men­tal Psy­chol­o­gy Course for Bach­e­lor stu­dents of the Psy­chol­o­gy pro­gram, the Depart­ment of Psy­chol­o­gy and Logo­pe­dics at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Helsin­ki orga­nized the Sci­ence Day at the Bio­medicum Helsin­ki. Stu­dents of the O’Brain lab pre­sent­ed pilot data on how the phe­nom­e­non of inten­tion­al bind­ing might be mod­u­lat­ed by view­ing food stim­uli. Though food pic­tures do not seem to influ­ence how respon­si­ble we feel for our actions, BMI might impact the sense of agency.
