Since 2012, Christoph Mühlberg is enrolled at the Medical School of the University of Leipzig. He successfully completed his preclinical course at the University of Halle.
His research project in order to get his doctoral thesis is promoted by the collaborative research centre 1052 “Obesity Mechanisms”. The doctoral thesis investigates response inhibition in obesity. Results of the project are expected to contribute to a comprehensive model of cognitive control over behaviour and its obesity-related alterations. In order to investigate, he uses established paradigms e.g. Stop Signal Task and adds the eating context. The aim is to compare the behavioural data of the lean and obese participants as well as the correlation of their eating habit questionnaires.
