Barbara has completed her Bachelor in Psychology at Dresden University of Technology in 2016 and is currently enrolled in the Master’s program “Psychology: Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience”, also at TU Dresden. As part of Dr. Franziska Korb’s team in Dresden she is involved in research on self-control in food choices in healthy, normal-weight adults. As part of her master’s thesis, Barbara investigates self-controlled choices in a decision-making task with food items and brain activity relating to such choices. Barbara is joining the O’Brain in 2022 for five months to complete an internship where she is involved in data evaluation and research on food choices in clinical populations.
