We are delighted to announce that Arsene Kanyamibwa has been awarded a prestigious grant from the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation for the year 2024 (Starting November 15th for 12 months). This grant is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting research, art, and societal activities, with over €15 million allocated this year to empower individuals and projects that embody these fields.

About the Foundation:

The Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation is a Finnish non-profit organization founded in 1942 by philanthropists Jenny and Antti Wihuri, dedicated to fostering opportunities in research, art, and societal activities. Their mission is to create chances for individuals and groups to fulfill, encounter, and experience these essential areas of life. In addition to our grant-awarding efforts, they maintain the Wihuri Research Institute, specializing in basic cardiovascular disease research, make art acquisitions for our collection at the Rovaniemi Art Museum, maintain residency programs, and award prizes.
