O’BRAIN Lab Joins CLIPI for Belated Christmas PikkuJoulu Social
Highlights from our belated PikkuJoulu social with CLIPI.

The O’BRAIN Lab celebrated a festive social gathering with colleagues from the Clinical Psychology & Mental Health Interventions (CLIPI) group, led by Professor Jari Lahti in the University of Helsinki’s Department of Psychology. This event featured a belated PikkuJoulu (Little Christmas) dinner, bringing together researchers focused on behavioral neuroscience and mental health interventions.
Event Highlights
The evening combined holiday cheer with unique Finnish traditions:
An introduction to curling, the precision winter sport, sparking interest among attendees.
A delightful dinner fostering cross-lab camaraderie and informal chats on psychology research.
CLIPI, part of the Faculty of Medicine, investigates biological and environmental factors in mental distress alongside the efficacy of psychotherapies—complementing O’BRAIN’s work on food reward and brain behavior. Such socials build departmental ties beyond formal collaborations.
