Narges Salili

Narges obtained her B.Sc. in Psychology from Shahid Beheshti University and her M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tehran. Her graduate and clinical work focused on cognitive and affective processes, psychopathology networks, and evidence-based interventions, alongside investigations into obesity-related behavioral and metabolic mechanisms. During this period, she worked as a licensed psychotherapist and served as a research and teaching assistant in clinical psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Her empirical work bridges clinical assessment and quantitative methodology, utilizing advanced statistical approaches including latent class analysis, network analysis, and mixed-effects modeling. In 2026, Narges joined the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Research at the University of Helsinki and the O’BRAIN Lab as a Doctoral Researcher. Her doctoral project, "Breath, Brain, Behavior: A Neuro-inflammatory pathway to Central Adiposity Risk in Shift Work," investigates the neurobiological, circadian, and neuro-inflammatory mechanisms predisposing shift workers to central adiposity.
